Aequalitas Media is coming to Cedar Rapids Iowa at the end of April to film the pilot for their new weekly cooking/travel show called “Joe Eats World”. The show which is in production now will launch in the fall on the OUTvoices TV channel on YouTube and will feature up and coming LGBTQ+ Chef Joe Morales as he travels around the country seeking culinary adventures while sharing tips and techniques to help viewers cook in their own kitchen.
“I am looking forward to coming to Cedar Rapids and experiencing the welcoming nature of the community while learning more about the local cuisine,” says Chef Morales.
Each episode will find Chef Joe in a new destination as he explores the food scene learning new recipes from local chefs as they create exciting new dishes.
The pilot episode in Cedar Rapids will feature celebrity Chef Art Smith and local Chef Marti Payseur of Thistle’s Summit as they join Chef Morales in the kitchen. The episode will be filmed in before a live audience in the Hotel at Kirkwood Center.
Also, Joining Chef Morales while filming will be LGBTQ+ travel expert, influencer and host of the Gaycation Travel Show, Ravi Roth. Ravi will also be in Cedar Rapids to film an upcoming episode of the Gaycation Travel Show featuring Cedar Rapids Iowa as a welcoming LGBTQ+ destination for business and leisure travel.
The Gaycation Travel Show will launch on the OUTvoices TV platform on May 14th on YouTube.
