Julie Stow Named Associate Executive Director of the Cedar Rapids Tourism Office

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – Michael Silva, Executive Director for VenuWorks of Cedar Rapids, has announced the promotion of Julie Stow to Associate Executive Director of the Tourism Office. Stow formerly served as the Director of Meetings and Conventions.

“I am pleased to announce the promotion of Julie to Associate Executive Director for the Cedar Rapids Tourism Office. Julie has worked hard to bring many national conventions and large meetings to Cedar Rapids since starting with VenuWorks in 2018, and has proven herself to be a committed advocate for our community on both the national and local level” says Silva.

The Cedar Rapids Tourism Office was formed in 2018 and drives tourism to Cedar Rapids through business, sports and leisure travel. “To say I’m excited to expand my work in the community I’m passionate about is an understatement. I am beyond grateful to work with the amazing team at the Tourism Office and to continue bringing meeting planners and events to Cedar Rapids,” says Stow.
