About the Bands
Patrick the Gathering was formed during the COVID chaos of 2020 when old friends Patrick Tecklenburg and John Patrick Jung became roommates and used the isolation as an opportunity to focus on making music. The duo eventually expanded to a four piece rock band with Todd “Reno” Porter replacing JP on lead guitar and bassist Nathan Wehrspan and drummer Ethan Head entering the fold as well. Patrick and his merry men draw inspiration from Tom Waits, The Rolling Stones, and Johnny Cash to name a few. They continue to put on dynamic and energetic monthly shows around Eastern Iowa and are overwhelmed with excitement to be gracing the historic stage at CSPS Hall. The band has multiple singles available on all streaming platforms and will begin recording the next one shortly.
The Electric Paperclips are an up and coming four piece rock band from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They have created numerous original songs ranging from a wide array of influences that are featured on their debut demo EP and will also be performing their takes on classic songs.
