Join us on Sunday, October 20th, for a day of hands-on activities inspired by our new temporary exhibit, “Potential Space: A Serious Look at Child’s Play. ” This dynamic art installation celebrates the universal joy of play through captivating photos taken across the globe. This photography-inspired event is ‘focused ‘on the importance of play. Check out games from around the world, sing along with us, and interact with acclaimed photographer Nancy Richards Farese as she shares stories behind her photos, provides special activities, and explores the museum with visitors. Activities: *Work on art projects, explore exhibit photos, and hear world travel stories, all with Nancy Richards Farese! *Add your favorite memories of playing to our “Together Tree.” *Play international games inspired by the exhibit’s photos of play around the world. *See where the exhibit photos are taken on our World Money Map! *Sing-along with Jeff and friends at 10:30 a.m. *Enter to win a copy of ‘Potential Space: A Serious Look at Child’s Play‘ About Nancy Richards Farese: Nancy Richards Farese is a photographer, artist, writer, and social entrepreneur. She is also the Founder of PhotoPhilanthropy (2009) and CatchLight (2015). Nancy is an award-winning social documentary photographer, working with social development agencies to address social and political conditions globally.
