In this workshop, you’ll learn to build and care for a miniature landscape in a glass vessel. The plants create their own ecosystem in a closed terrarium, watering themselves through transpiration and condensation.

Finding the right balance is essential and may take some trial and experimentation. We’ll equip you with the skills needed to layer the medium for optimal growth, troubleshoot issues that may arise later, and generally care for your new garden under glass.


Pricing: 
Medium Apothecary Jar Terrarium: includes instruction, all materials and 2 plants. $50
Large Apothecary Jar Terrarium: includes instruction, all materials and 3 plants. $65


Optional add-ons: crystals, additional plants, different vessels


Workshop format: standing at counter-height work table. If you are unable to stand for approximately 1 hour, this may not be the right class for you. Intended for ages 18+.
