Gett ready for spine-tingling thrills at Kirkwood Community College’s Second Annual Haunted Hospital, hosted by the Respiratory Therapy Club on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Katz Family Healthcare Simulation Center. Open to the public, this spooky event will transform the simulation center into a haunted house packed with medical-themed scares, ghouls, and even a special appearance by Kirkwood’s mascot, Sammy the Eagle—all in support of the Respiratory Therapy program!
The Respiratory Therapy Club is excited to host the 2nd Annual Haunted Hospital in the Katz Simulation Center. This fundraiser directly benefits our Respiratory Therapy students, providing financial support to help cover essential program expenses. As students progress through the program, they often work fewer hours and face challenges in meeting additional costs. Community support can help reduce their financial stress and allow them to focus on their education. However, this event is about more than fundraising. It’s an opportunity for the community to witness the incredible dedication of our students, faculty, and simulation center staff. It’s a true team effort, and we can’t wait to share it to the community.
