Overview
CRIFF celebrates films and filmmakers from around the world, who just happen to have connections to Iowa
Now in its 23rd year, CRIFF brings a diverse audience together to celebrate films and filmmakers from across the state, all over the country, and around the world, all with an Iowa Connection. Official Selections always represent a wide variety of features, shorts, documentaries, music videos, and experimental films at Student, Hobbyist and Professional levels. All films are screened twice in an updated, comfortable theatre (with real butter for your popcorn). April 6th we host Student Cinema Sunday, showing student films from elementary through grad school! Selected films will compete for Gold and Silver Eddy Awards and Audience Choice and Iowa Connection Awards, as well as a $1000 Collins Road Theatres Scholarship. The Festival is open to the general public, and the Saturday night Eddy Awards Ceremony, presented by is free with any other Festival ticket purchase.
