50th Annual SaPaDaPaSo St. Patricks Day Parade, Downtown Cedar Rapids
The parade celebration hits the streets in Cedar Rapids at 1:00 p.m! This is an all-ages FREE event, open to everyone!
Spring Zombie Survivial Camp, Usher's Ferry
Spring Break Zombie Survival Camp returns to test your cool weather survival skills and explore the wilderness around Ushers Ferry to search for the origins of the zombie outbreak! Learn how to find and build shelter, make a fire, find water and forage for food and supplies as we evade the zombies and make our way to the legendary "Ground Zero" the source of the zombie origin! Registration required.
Spring Break Culinary Camp: St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Celebration, NewBo City Market
Ages 7-12. Kick off your culinary Spring Break adventure with a day full of green fun and Irish-inspired treats! Campers will create delicious and healthy treats and snacks as well as participate in fun crafts. Along with the culinary fun, campers will enjoy exciting outdoor activities, essential kitchen safety tips, and build in-person connections with kids their age! We hope to see you there! Clover's Almost Sleepover, Northwest Recreation Center
Clover's having a sleepover! Well, almost, and kids ages 6-12 are invited! Enjoy a fun-filled night of luck and adventure playing games, doing experiments, and making new friends. Pajamas welcomed!

Ages 7-12. SPRING into the season of with a day dedicated to fresh flavors and fun crafts! Campers will create their own vibrant treats and snacks and will get hands-on with creative crafts. With some outdoor time and lessons on kitchen safety, campers will not only learn culinary skills but also explore the wonders of the natural world. This day is all about blooming creativity, making new friends, and celebrating the joys of spring in both the kitchen and beyond! Registration required.

$5 Spring Break Tours at Brucemore
From Wednesday, March 19 through Sunday, March 23, we are offering self-guided tours of the mansion, and all visitors can enjoy the student admission rate. Whether you are young or simply young at heart, everyone is a kid when they visit Brucemore during Spring Break! Explore the beautiful rooms of the mansion at your own pace. Knowledgeable staff will be available to answer your questions as you learn about the history of the site. When you are finished visiting the mansion, Brucemore welcomes you to explore the 26-acres of grounds and gardens at no additional cost.
Spring Break Advenutre Camp, Wickiup Hill Learning Center
This morning of fun and adventure will include interacting with our live animals, hiking, activities, and games. Activities will be weather dependent. Parents and guardians do not need to attend this camp with their children. Grades 1-4. Registration required.
Spring Break Culinary Camp: Slam Dunk Sweets & Treats, NewBo City Market
Ages 7-12. Get ready for a day of hoops, high-fives, and tasty treats! On this day campers will channel their inner champions as they make sporty snacks and treats perfect for game day. Campers will showcase their creativity and team spirit as they work together during team-themed activities. Additionally, campers will learn kitchen safety tips while building teamwork and having a blast with their new friends! By the end of the day, they’ll be ready to cheer on their favorite team, and be full of yummy snacks! Registration required.

Spring NERF Tactical, Usher's Ferry
Grab your friends and your NERF gear and head out to Ushers Ferry to blow off some steam over school break! Dress for the weather and learn NERF safety and strategy, then break into teams to play "Capture the Flag" and other games to defend your fortress. Bring your own NERF gear, ammo, and eye protection. Registration required.
Family Geocaching, Wickiup Hill Learning Center
Come explore Wickiup Hill’s many trails and sites, all while trying to find hidden treasure in geocaches around the area. Learn all about geocaching and try it out. GPS units are provided for groups to use during the program. Open to all ages. Registation required.
