The grand opening of Indian Creek Nature Center’s new Amazing Space is just days away! This project is the Nature Center’s vision for the future and the new building is a starting point for the outdoor world that lies beyond, including woodlands, prairies, wetlands and trails.
The new space will be a venue for outdoor concerts, health and wellness programming, as well as a place to learn new skills and sports. As always, this is a place to find solace in nature.
We encourage you to tour the facility to learn about the efforts to make this the first project in the state to receive the Living Building Challenge certification, the highest standard in environmental sustainability.
Bring the entire family and join in the Grand Opening Weekend celebrations September 16-18, 2016, that will include music, tours, hikes, crafts and more.
