1. Linn County Conservation Generally open mid-April through mid-October. Most campsites are open on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information and specific rules and amenities, contact Linn County Conservation.  

• Buffalo Creek Park, located in northeast Linn County, just west of Coggon on County Road D62

  • Unique Features: vault-type restroom, wildlife, water and electric available, playground, horseshoe courts nearby, dump station
     
• Morgan Creek Park

  • Number of Campsites: 36

  • Locations: 7212 E Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA

  • Unique Features: Group camp available, playground, dumping station, arboretum & butterfly garden

• Pinicon Ridge Park, located just west of Highway 13 near Central City

  • Number of Campsites:

    • Flying Squirrel, A-Loop: 41

    • Flying Squirrel, B-Loop: 28

    • Flying Squirrel, C-Loop: 14

    • Plains: 36 (17 non-electric)

  • Location: located just west of Highway 13 near Central City, IA

2. Beyonder Getaway at LAZY ACRES

3. Palisades Kepler State Park

• Number of Campsites: 44

4. Pleasant Creek State Recreation Area

• Number of Campsites: 3 campgrounds, 71 sites

• Location: 4530 McClintock Road, Palo

• Unique Features: Open Year Around, reservations available, 2 modern shower/restroom facilities available, no-wake lake, outdoor playground, hunting available
