Local Pour + Street Food

Local Pour + Street Food is all about creative cuisine paired with classic cocktails in a cozy atmosphere.

The Food:
The philosophy at LPSF is to take things you already know you like and add a new spin. The small, and some may say unorthodox, menu allows for proper attention to be given to each item and it really shows. While the menu has had some revisions since they opened, the most popular items - the gyro and the poutine – have remained top performers. With daily specials (including OYSTERS!) and white plates specials on Fridays and Saturdays the chefs show off their amazing technical skills at a great price point. And remember, everything at LPSF is #FunNotFancy! That includes Sunday Brunch served from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. which is a buffet and small menu that includes bottomless mimosas and special cocktails.

The Drinks:
LPSF is building quite a reputation for their often tiki-inspired classic cocktails, including shareable options, and is one of the only places in town to grab a tiki drink. The staff has entered (and WON) four cocktail competitions! A full bar and wide domestic and craft beer selection round out the offerings.

The Atmosphere:
The owners and management team at LPSF were born and raised in Cedar Rapids and love having the opportunity to grow the southwest side of downtown and the Kingston Village neighborhood. You can feel the love as you enter and see the upcycled wood used throughout, the local artwork and gorgeous plants that turn the space into a cozy, comfortable and fun place to hang out.

THE DAILY SPECIALS:
Monday – Oyster Poboy
Tuesday – Taco feature
Wednesday – HumpDay Hamburger feature
Thursday – Fresh Oysters, ½ price bottles of wine
Friday/Saturday – White Plates, unique ingredients showcasing the chef’s skills
Sunday – Brunch 10-2, buffet or small menu, bottomless mimosas & more

New Addition:
In Spring 2020, look for the LP Scoop Coop to be serving up ice cream right next door. An expanded patio with fire pits, additional seating, games and more will connect the LP Scoop Coop to the main restaurant.

Sister Restaurants:
If LPSF sounds appetizing, you may also want to check out Brick’s Bar & Grill in downtown, Cedar Rapids’ Famous craft beer bar and/or Moco Game Room & Hot Dog Bar in the College District, featuring live music and karaoke!
